I think whatever god is out there is fairly nongendered and has aspects of both. The reason the Hebrew God is described as a he is because in their culture, the figurehead of the household and the leadership were all male. It makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint, in some ways, since men were predisposed to be larger and stronger than the majority of women - so they became protectors, so to speak, of their collective communities.

The Bible was also primarily written by men - and if it had been in a female society or culture, then you're correct, I think at least, that God would be female.

The way most intelligent Christians explain it is that the Father is the divine figurehead in the Trinity, the Son (Jesus) is the humanity of the Trinity, and the Holy Spirit is the dark feminine of the Trinity, though it's often described as he anyway... because that's the way the Christian faith pretty much is. Very masculine, very male-dominated and even male-focused. Women are considered largely inferior and are pretty much only for reproduction purposes.

:\ Which is why religion is dumb. It's just a bunch of stuff made up by men trying to compensate for the lack of fulfillment in their lives anyway.

I have to agree with what you say, although I do think that religion is a necessity, but more then religion being a necessity, but it’s having a spiritual relationship and having spiritual experiences is above all most important, because it’s not the lack of fulfillment we as humans have but just wanting more, and feeding the soul, it will wither and die if we don’t embrace and care for it. Religion is often an easy way of going about that, providing rules and structure to the spiritual life one can live. Otherwise I think none of life adds up.

Well, your great journal reminded me of the first comment I added to *Zaemura's page,
on 'Goddess Rising'. And well, I wasn't thinking of adding it, though then an 'amazing' book I'm reading, all about the heart basically; related to it so I went to Chad's page to grab the quote that was part of that first comment, and I got the 6,651 pageview, and liked that, it's number I notice as it's the numbers of my name and a 1. So anyway, I grabbed the quote and it seems related to your journal.

Well I dunno, though the part of the book that encouraged me to add that quote, seems to kind of say something opposite. And well it isn't a writing I feel comfortable quoting, I just don't know if I should, hmmm, well what the heck, what's the worst that could happen, atleast I tried to consider not knowing. lol, lots of love.

Very interesting, that’s what I like, people that make me think, make me question myself and question my beliefs, whether I like it or not. But isn’t that, what part of our everyday life should be, questioning our own faith in order to gain truth to achieve new levels as we travel through time, because it’s so easy to lose ourselves, existing in a new time every moment, always changing and causing change, clipping the wings of butterflies, riding waves of frozen emotion, grudging on, carrying the stone, spilling our love like blood red tears, leaving it all open and branching through this line we call time. Flowing colors in to simple words. It’s all to easy to lose your self traveling through this time.
