Did I say he? Over that past while I have noticed that when people male or female refer to God they say He Him or His. But I think this is totally wrong. Because He refers to having a gender, why do I have a penis to pee and have sex with to reproduce to continue the human species, because one day I will die.
Why would God need a penis? To reproduce? If you happen to be a God believer then you may recognize that God had a son Jesus, (and the only reason Jesus was male is because at that time in earths history it was the only logical course, most people would not have listened to a female Jesus) God didnt come down from Heaven a have sex with Mary, but it was likely a metaphysical-artificial-insemination AKA the miracle of the virgin pregnancy/birth. Furthermore if we go back a little further say to the time of earths creation (if that is what you believe) then God making everything probably had nothing to do with a penis.
So whats with all this His and he talk, and whats up with God being the Our Father. Again God does not need to reproduce to survive, maybe its because the Bible was written my males, just think if it was a totally female written book, and the female was the dominate sex. It would be one very different Bible, and I wouldnt be surprised if the Bible read something like Our Mother thou art in heaven or hearing something like Jesus was a woman and SHE died on the cross for our sins.
The fact is society dictates gender domination, currently its all about the Man, maybe in some years to come it will be all about he Woman, the USA just may have the first female President, and if she does get in she wont be the last, the Woman is moving up in the world. Someday God may prominently be referred to as a woman and someone may write Does God have a Vagina?
Im not looking for a religious debit here; its just my thoughts right now thats all.
Peace and long life

The Bible was also primarily written by men - and if it had been in a female society or culture, then you're correct, I think at least, that God would be female.
The way most intelligent Christians explain it is that the Father is the divine figurehead in the Trinity, the Son (Jesus) is the humanity of the Trinity, and the Holy Spirit is the dark feminine of the Trinity, though it's often described as he anyway... because that's the way the Christian faith pretty much is. Very masculine, very male-dominated and even male-focused. Women are considered largely inferior and are pretty much only for reproduction purposes.
:\ Which is why religion is dumb. It's just a bunch of stuff made up by men trying to compensate for the lack of fulfillment in their lives anyway.
That's what I think, at least, lol.

on 'Goddess Rising'. And well, I wasn't thinking of adding it, though then an 'amazing' book I'm reading, all about the heart basically; related to it so I went to Chad's page to grab the quote that was part of that first comment, and I got the 6,651 pageview, and liked that, it's number I notice as it's the numbers of my name and a 1. So anyway, I grabbed the quote and it seems related to your journal.
'...the masculine term is used for all forms of Creative thought - for they metaphorically express within the Inner high Creative realms, the desire to expand and project one's creative seed within the warm nurturing element that the feminine aspect represents, as the carrier of life, and all of its manifestations. The masculine aspect represents the expansive, creative element of life: The Yang energy, while the feminine aspect represents contraction, the housing for the Yang energy, nurturing, loving and structuring. The feminine aspect being Mother Nature, and Humankind the masculine creative aspect, men and women alike.'
Well I dunno, though the part of the book that encouraged me to add that quote, seems to kind of say something opposite. And well it isn't a writing I feel comfortable quoting, I just don't know if I should, hmmm, well what the heck, what's the worst that could happen, atleast I tried to consider not knowing. lol, lots of love.
' I, the Pure Male Force, am not dependent on You, the Female Force. For I See You. I See all your strategies to seduce Me, to get anything. I Am Pure Seeing. Pure Seeing cannot bow (anymore) for any strategy of Ego. I See You Love Me. And You cannot do else. You try to seduce Me by (supposed and strategic) (and concealed threatening of) withholding your (Female) Love. But (although for the time being you cannot stop trying) you cannot really (seduce Me). For I See You. Pure Seeing is Total Embrace, Total Incorporation, Feeling (or Knowing, Realizing) No-Difference. Pure Seeing (the Formless) Sees You (Being the forms) are not separate, not even different from Me. You are Here, always. Thats why I dont need You (as forms that like to show Me again and again that they are separate from (and therefore in need of) Me). I, the Pure Male Force, Am Free. You, Female Force, are and make Yourself unhappy in Your stubbornness, not to Bow for and in Me while in fact You already Saw Me You Saw Me for I am in You, I am You.'
